Come hear the latest findings and experiences of researchers and local farmers on BMPs to improve soil health, manage nutrients and reduce phosphorus loading to the Sydenham River Watershed (and beyond!).

Keynote speakers include Steve Groff, a cover crop coach with over 25 years of experience farming with cover crops.

Dr. Donald Scavia, a professor at the University of Michigan, will share results of a phosphorus-loading model in the St. Clair-Detroit River watershed showing which BMP bundles will reach the 40% phosphorus loading reduction targets .

Presentations from researchers, working professionals and local farmers within the Great Lakes Region will share up-to-date local agriculture research and experiences.
