In furthering our promotion of the Locally Lambton Food & Fun map, The Lambton Federation of Agriculture invites families to a day of fun and learning, touring farms and farm businesses in the northern part of Lambton County.

Families will have the opportunity to visit local farms for fun activities and get great deals on homegrown products. Eight stops on the tour include maple syrup producers, fruit and vegetable farms, a flower and tree nursery, a winery, meats, and a dairy farm.

Local commodity groups including the Lambton Dairy Producers, Farm Safety, Egg Producers, Lambton Cattlemen, Lambton Pork Producers and the Lambton Federation of Agriculture will be at each stop and will be happy to answer questions you have been dying to ask about agriculture and where your local food comes from. There will be an opportunity for you to purchase food at a couple of the stops on the tour if you are looking for a light lunch.

The best part of this tour is there is no charge! We only ask that you bring a donation of a canned or non-perishable food item to be left at your first stop for the local food banks. With an increase in the need for food items at the Inn of the Good Shepherd and the local food banks throughout Lambton County, your donation will be greatly appreciated.
