We are wrapping up another summer and what an interesting summer it was. As we move towards September, keep road safety in mind as busses will be on the roads again soon.

Along with the return of school, we have the return of the Fall Fairs! Consider entering as an exhibitor, or just join the fun at the carnival! Check out the LFA page for all the fair details!

The Lambton Agricultural Hall of fame is pleased to announce the 2014 inductees are Charles Lawes and Jerry Tiffen Ferguson. Please look for more information in Septembers Lambton AGLink. As well, the Hall of Fame encourages Lambton Residents and business to assist the Hall of Fame with a membership and a 2015 nomination!

The LFA is hosting their Regional Meeting on Monday August 25th at 7pm. All LFA members are invited to attend, and encouraged to volunteer to represent Lambton County at the Annual Meeting of the OFA in November in Niagara Falls. Always worth the trip, the LFA supports members attending this event to share Lambton’s concerns with the OFA and other county members, network and perhaps find some new and educational information. The LFA particularly encourages our young farmers to attend OYF, and the Annual OFA meeting. The regional meeting will be held at Lambton County Developmental Services, 339 Centre Street, Petrolia. Refreshments will be provided. For more information on the Regional Meeting, or attending the OFA Annual Meeting, contact Christina at [email protected].
