LFA was treated with a tour of the Cargill Grain Terminal in Sarnia prior to the OFA Lambton Regional Meeting, August 24 2023

Lambton Farm Safety Day, held July 6 2023 at the Greenwood Recreation Centre, Petrolia ON

A Lambton County bus tour was organized by the LFA, attended by local politicians, staff and economic developers, on June 28 2023.

Kevin Forbes of Sarnia’s Forbesvue Farms said he agreed to have his third-generation dairy farm featured because of the importance his family places on agriculture education.

Report Points to Looming Farmer Shortage as Many Retire

Crispin Colvin, vice president of the OFA, said fewer farmers means domestically produced food will be harder to find.

OFA was pleased to host their third annual Research Day virtual event on March 31, 2023.
This event was to allow members to learn more about some of the current agricultural research projects that OFA supports.
