Many Ontarians may be seeking new employment opportunities, either because of the economic downturn, process changes as a result of COVID-19, or because they want to explore new possibilities in less urban areas. Agri-food employers are seeking ambitious, talented individuals to take on a variety of career opportunities from field to fork.
The Ontario Federation of Agriculture (OFA), AgCareers.com and CareersInFood.com have partnered with local organizations to offer Virtual Career Fairs that will expose job seekers to employment possibilities in the agri-food industry. They will be offered for FREE to both employers and job seekers in various regions throughout the province and will highlight the need for talent in the industry.
Employers in Middlesex, London, and surrounding areas will exhibit at the Virtual Career Fair on June 18th. There will be virtual exhibit floors for job seekers to browse. Participants will be able to communicate in real time and will also get to learn more about the industry and jobs available to them.
