For farmers and agribusiness people alike, the Speakers’ Bureau series of workshops is designed to encourage those involved in agriculture to tell THEIR stories – what they do and why they do it – to non-farming audiences. Farm & Food Care has scheduled a Lambton and chatham-kent session in March. Visit farmfoodcare.org under the events tab for more information.
Five Open Houses have been scheduled to allow the public an opportunity to review and discuss the County of Lambton’s draft Official Plan. Public input received last year on a number of background reports is helping to shape the draft document. The LFA encourages the agricultural community to review and provide feedback to the county. Complete details of the open houses can be found on lambtonfederation.ca
