July 1, 2004 arrived as a beautiful, sunny day for Canada Day celebrations that took place at many locations in Lambton County.

Members of The Lambton Cattlemen’s Association and the Lambton Federation of Agriculture could be found behind barbeques at a successful event organized by the Township of Brooke-Alvinston.

LCA and LFA partnered to provide 100 pounds of hamburger patties and also helped to serve the free lunch to a steady stream of people for about 90 minutes over the lunch hour.

This event completed the recent project of donated beef that the two organizations jointly organized.
