SHOWCASING WHERE THE WORLDS BEST IS GROWN-LOCALLY LAMBTON 2014

SARNIA-LAMBTON, ON (October 17, 2014)- Libro Credit Union, United Way of Sarnia-Lambton, Lambton College, and Lambton Federation of Agriculture present the “7th Annual Locally Lambton Dinner”, Saturday November 1, 2014, at Lambton College Residence and Event Centre. “The traditional fall harvest meal is a true eye opener to what Lambton County agriculture contributes to our community” said Campaign Chair Richard Kelch.

The 2014 Locally Lambton meal is served buffet style with a broad menu prepared by Lambton College Culinary Management students overseen by Chef Alastair Mackay. The menu features everything from roasted turkey, lamb stew, and smoked trout to roasted pepper salad and a 100% local vegetable medley. All of this food is grown, raised or produced in Lambton County. The herbs and spices are also locally grown.

Businesses throughout Sarnia-Lambton have donated auction items for the event. Only 225 tickets are available for the November 1, 2014 dinner. The tickets can be purchased at the United Way office at 420 East St. N. or by calling 519-336-5452.
