  3. Research and development improves the best management practices of the agriculture sector.
  4. Sustainable farming methods produce food, fibre and alternative energy.
C) Healthy and Informed Consumers have access to Ontario food.
  1. A National Food Strategy is developed and implemented by governments and the food chain.
  2. Food labelling enables informed choice.
  3. Food education with youth and adults contributes to healthy food choices.
  4. Direct food marketing options by farmers are enabled by pragmatic relations.
D) The OFA is a strong and responsible organization, respected by farmers  and the public.
  1. Consumers understand the benefits of farming in Ontario.
  2. The OFA is the leading advocate for farming in Ontario.
  3. Members are informed of OFA’s activities and achievements.
  4. The OFA is the organization advising governments on policy and programs.
  5. The OFA remains financially sound.
