Criteria:
- Available to Lambton County students entering their first or second year of full time studies at any college or university in Ontario that leads to your first degree or diploma.
- Applicant’s permanent address must be in Lambton County.
- Previous winners are not eligible.
Complete typed applications will include:
A: 10 points
- Cover letter
- Most recent official transcript of academic results
B: 15 points
- Name your Program of Studies and the Start Date of your courses at the college / university you are now attending /have applied to/hoping to attend.
- State why you chose this course and what you plan on doing after graduation.
C: 30 points
- Community activities while attending high school/college/university which focus on the last two years
- List all organizations of which you were an active member including offices held in your high school/college/university.
- List your leadership activities in organizations.
- State special interests, hobbies, and any accomplishments.
D: 45 points
- Include a typed essay of 250 – 350 words on the following:
- “If the post-pandemic period has changed your family’s food choices, give supporting reasons for changing and reasons why those changes will or will not be sustained.”
Return your complete application with the above plus:
- Your present complete mailing and email address.
- The names of your mother/grandmother who is/was a Women’s Institue member, if applicable
- Names and telephone numbers of three references who could be contacted to support your involvement in your activities.
