LFA Scholarships!
Lambton Federation reminds students that there are several scholarship opportunities for those entering their second year of post-secondary education. All forms and applications can be found on this website under “Scholarships”. Whether you are in college or university, we would encourage you to submit an application. Deadline is October 31st so don’t miss out.
Farm Tour
A huge thank you to all the commodity groups and families who either put up a display or visited the stops on the Locally Lambton Farm Tour on Sunday August 23rd. Everyone had a great time, hopefully learned more about agriculture and the products the various farmers were offering for sale and helped make donations to the foodbanks. Thank you again and we look forward to visiting another part of the county in 2010.
Pat Davidson will be joining the Federation on Wednesday, September 2nd to make a few farm stops and meet with commodity groups to hear their concerns regarding agriculture. We want to thank Pat for her time and concern.
Annual Meeting
Our annual meeting will be on Friday, November 20th, so hold the date. Tickets will be available in a short time.
