Lambton 4-H
The Lambton Federation of Agriculture is co-hosting an event on June 14th, 2014. Modeled after 2013’s Breakfast on the Farm event in New Dundee, Lambton County’s inaugural event, hosted at the dairy farm of Kevin & Melissa Forbes, will see guest visit their farm. This event is an ideal venue to present a day of learning while enjoying a tasty Lambton County breakfast. We are trying to involve as many different rural community groups and individuals in this event as possible.
We are approaching the Lambton County 4-H group, to see if there is interest in participating on two levels. Firstly, we would like to invite 4-H to participate by hosting an information booth on your organization at the event, attended by 4-H members and leaders.
Secondly, Breakfast on the Farm would like to be able to make a donation to 4-H, from this event, to support youth development in agriculture. In order to make this a success event, we require volunteers. We are hoping to have a minimum of 10 4-H members, family members or leaders volunteer. While we would love to have all members, due to the responsibility, we are asking for members 15 years and older.
We propose the donation be divided by the number of volunteers, and attributed to the respective clubs in that manner.
