Another year has passed and I find myself writing the president report again. This past year, LFA put on a new program for the first time being the Locally Lambton Map tour.

This being the fourth year since the first edition of Locally Lambton Food and Fun Map, we wanted to add a new twist so we decided to tour some of the businesses on the map. So this year, we toured north Lambton on a somewhat rainy day in August. Other than a few showers that day, the tour was well received and we are looking forward to putting on next year’s tour in another part of Lambton and hope everyone will come to the 2010 tour.

Now I would like to take this time to thank all of you on the board for the last two years. It seems just like yesterday my term started and thanks for all the hard work you have done to try make it better for the farmers of Lambton County.

The LFA board doesn’t have a magic wand to make all the problems go away but we are here to help you to work toward a solution to the problems.

In closing, I would like to say thanks for letting me be your President for the past two years. I know that farming is a challenge some days but in the end, there is no other job or career that is more rewarding to do. Yours in farming
